Joburg Tourism is proud to announce that its immersive destination brand film, Welcome2Joburg – It’s where you want to be!, has been awarded a Silver Certificate at the International Tourism Film Festival Africa (ITFFA) 2026 Awards Ceremony, held on Friday, 5 June 2026, at The Bannister Hotel in Braamfontein, Johannesburg.

Joburg Tourism is set to make a bold statement at Africa’s Travel Indaba 2026, taking place from 11 – 14 May at the Inkosi Albert Luthuli International Convention Centre in Durban. The Joburg Tourism delegation will be led by the Board Chairperson, Nandipha Zonela, underscoring the city’s commitment to positioning itself as Africa’s hub for business and a playground for leisure tourism.

With just three days to go, anticipation is building for Hostex 2026, taking place from 8–10 March at the Sandton Convention Centre. Africa’s food, drink and hospitality community will gather for three days of business, ideas and connection – and Joburg Tourism is once again proud to collaborate in supporting this landmark event.
