Five show days, 22 stands, 33 service points and more than 15,000 planned servings – but an expo of this scale of Electra Mining begins long before the doors open.
For Barmotion, Electra Mining 2026 began six weeks earlier, with planning, logistics and coordination across multiple clients and stands. From 4 September, our team moved on site for setup, bringing it all together ahead of five very busy show days.
Our footprint stretched across the venue, with activations for Xylem, Flender, ITR Africa, Kennametal, Multotec, Innomatics, Sandvik, Victaulic, TEGA, Optix, Klinger, Sulzer, Austmine and Spec-Cast Group, alongside additional Main Catering stands.
Coffee was naturally a major part of the week, with thousands of cups served to exhibitors, clients and visitors moving through the halls. But this year’s offering extended well beyond the traditional expo coffee bar.
Across the various stands, our team delivered iced coffee, matcha, bubble tea, Fizz drinks, an on-tap beer offering, alcohol service, snacks and platters – each activation planned around the individual stand, audience and client requirements.
Multotec was a great example of hospitality becoming part of the stand experience, with multiple service elements keeping the space active and guests engaged throughout the day.
Electra Mining is a great example of what goes into large-scale exhibition hospitality behind the scenes. Multiple stands, different halls, individual menus, equipment, stock, staffing and thousands of servings all need to come together seamlessly over several very busy days.
For us, that is where the real work happens – making something operationally complex feel simple for the client and effortless for their guests.
