The Victoria Falls Safari Collection, operated by leading Zimbabwean hospitality group Africa Albida Tourism, has expanded its portfolio with the opening of Queen Nandi Place, a sophisticated new events venue on the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge estate, strengthening Victoria Falls’ position as a competitive, year-round Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Events (MICE) destination.

Unveiled at a launch event in early April, Queen Nandi Place has already captured attention with its stylish design, stunning views over the Zambezi National Park and the spray of the Victoria Falls, and its versatility, making it ideal for weddings, product launches, corporate events, gala dinners, wellness retreats, and more.

This multi-purpose facility is a strategic addition to the Victoria Falls Safari Collection and a response to the region’s call for more specialised MICE facilities.

Speaking during his welcome remarks at the April launch, Andy Conn, group operations manager, said:  “Queen Nandi Place is not just another venue – it’s a response to the challenges we all face in the destination during the low season. By attracting more upmarket events and meetings over our traditionally quieter months, we hope to fill not only our rooms – but rooms across Victoria Falls and drive business for everyone in the destination.”

With capacity for up to 180 guests and a dedicated kitchen for seamless catering, the venue reflects both Victoria Falls Safari Collection’s commitment to innovation and the destination’s growing readiness for the regional and international events market.

Named in honour of Queen Nandi, the revered mother of King Shaka Zulu, the venue embodies her strength, courage, and beauty.

Queen Nandi Place joins an award-winning portfolio under the Victoria Falls Safari Collection, which includes the flagship Victoria Falls Safari Lodge, the premium, 20-room Victoria Falls Safari Club, the spacious Victoria Falls Safari Suites (ideal for families and small, close-knit groups), the family-friendly Lokuthula Lodges, the “must-do” Boma – Dinner & Drum Show and the rejuvenating Victoria Falls Safari Spa, all located on the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge estate just 4 km from Victoria Falls.
