Outdoor adventurers at Sun City will now have more activities for visitors to revel in when spending time at the legendary Sun City in the North West Province. Mankwe Gametrackers, which is based at the resort and offers guided tours and safaris at the nearby Pilanesberg, has added a suite of new experiences to its offering that can be enjoyed all year round.

“Sun City is continually evolving and enhancing the range of experiences available to guests to offer more opportunity to create lasting memories. We boast a diverse offering that combines a choice of action-packed entertainment options for all ages, as well as opportunities to relax and enjoy the quietness of nature. The new suite of experiences by Mankwe Gametrackers is sure to hit the spot with outdoor enthusiasts,” says Thapelo Modise, Marketing Manager at Sun City.

The Chimp & Zee is an exciting new rope adventure at treetop level above the Valley of Waves. The course is made up of individual elevated obstacles, from high balancing beams; speedy zip lines; hanging spider nets to jungle rope bridges and much more. Each rope adventure course is designed with specific elements that require a different approach and set of skills. Chimp & Zee is therefore considered an excellent developmental tool for young and old alike. Rope adventure courses are fun outdoor recreational activities that are certainly not just for kids. They are ideal for individuals, families and groups who want to challenge their abilities. Chimp & Zee will be conducted daily at Mankwe Gametrackers from 09h00 until 17h00.

Mountain biking enthusiasts will also be pleased to know that Mankwe Gametrackers will soon be introducing a mountain bike route in the Letsatsing Game Park. The route will cover a distance about 9kms through a private game park situated in the Sun City Resort bordering the Pilanesberg National Park. The private game park is a 700Ha reserve with plenty of wildlife such as Wildebeest, Impala, Sable, Zebra, Giraffe, Warthogs, Nyala, Kudu and much more, not to forget about all the smaller creatures, critters and bird life. The bike route is on a rocky mountainous terrain that is not too deep and has rivulets running through it.

Mankwe Gametrackers will also be hosting Family Bushwalks in the Letsatsing Game Park, within the borders of the resort. The aim of the bushwalks is to involve the whole family, with qualified field guides to lead the way and share their knowledge of the local wildlife. This activity will be conducted daily, in the morning at 07h00 and in the afternoon at 15h30.
