In a bid to deliver even greater value to exhibitors and visitors at the inaugural Food & Hospitality Africa in 2016, the expo has partnered with SAA to offer discounts on local and international flights to and from the show.

Food & Hospitality Africa (F&HA) will take place at Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand from 3-5 May 2016. It’s the result of a merger of South Africa’s two most popular hospitality trade shows – Hostex and IFEA – to leverage their size and scale and create a single show that will be the most representative food, foodservice, and hospitality trade event on the African continent.

“The new show is attracting a lot of interest locally, from other African countries, as well as internationally – and we are looking forward to the biggest gathering of the industry that South Africa has yet seen,” says Nick Sarnadas, Food & Hospitality Event Director. “For this reason, we are delighted to have been able to secure excellent discounts from SAA for them.” He adds that Specialised Exhibitions Montgomery, organisers of F&HA, is continuously seeking ways to deliver value to all exhibitors and visitors to its shows. “This support from SAA will go a long way to making Food & Hospitality Africa an even better proposition and more enjoyable for attendees.”

The new partnership between Food & Hospitality Africa and SAA offers delegates attending the show discounted flights within South Africa, from elsewhere in Africa, and from around the world. The discounts vary from 5% to 18% and are valid if flights are booked before 5 May 2016 for travel between 19 April and 19 May. The discount for travellers from anywhere in Africa to Johannesburg is 10% across all classes.

Sarnadas says, “We’re eagerly anticipating an exciting launch of Food & Hospitality Africa, which will incorporate global expertise to present a cutting-edge expo, while always ensuring that the crucial elements of providing networking opportunities, relevant information, a wide range of products and services, and the excitement of culinary competitions that were so popular at Hostex and IFEA remain firmly in place. Our thanks goes to SAA for joining us in our efforts to offer added value for the show’s participants.”
